Volvo FInancial Services Lithuania (temporry contract)



As an essential part of VFS team, reporting directly to the Chief Accountant “VFS LT”, Accountant will play an important role and be responsible for all relevant accounting processes of Volvo Financial Services in Lithuania.


You will be responsible for:

·         Maintaining General Ledger and ensuring reconciliations

  • Ensuring that Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions are effectively managed
  • Responsible for Treasury / Cash Management
  • Ensuring financial reports according to IFRS group rules
  • Ensuring tax compliance according to local rules and timelines
  • Providing correct, complete and timely financial information for reporting, forecasting and controlling purposes
  • Preparing and delivering correct, complete and compliant reports
  • Supporting in the financial processes for business planning, funding, budgeting and forecasting
  • Being a professional business partner for (internal and external) auditors and external consultants
  • Participating in special projects
  • Driving efficiency improvement for all accounting-related processes
  • Supporting and consulting with operational functions across the organization


We expect you have:

  • University Degree in Accounting or Finance;

·         Preferable 5 years of work experience in a similar position;

·         Knowledge of international accounting practices and principles;

·         Practice in IFRS accounting;

·         Sound knowledge of legal tax requirements (VAT, Income tax, etc.)

·         Leasing accounting knowledge would be an advantage

  • Positive attitude towards work and eagerness to work with the team
  • Ability to prioritize work and organize the workload
  • Advanced level in reading, writing and speaking English; Russian would be an advantage
